Barcode Label Pool Default File Maintenance - SET 26
The Bar Code Pick Label Pool Default File, accessed via option 26 on the System Settings Menu, is entered by workstation ID.
- To use this option select option 26 - Barcode Label Pool Default File Maintenance from the System Settings menu.
- Enter a Work Station ID or leave blank to default to the current workstation. This file contains defaults for the Barcode Pool, thereby reducing keystrokes and saving time for warehouse personnel. This allows you to control the shipping dates that appear on the screen, and to pick a default sort category. This feature allows options such as setting the cutting machine to default to the cut/ roll picking option and the tile/carton workstation to default to the areas sort option. These options are accessed without tabbing to the desired sort. If a warehouse is entered, it becomes the default.
- After entering a password and pressing Enter, the Barcode Label Default File Detail screen appears.
| Field Name | Description/Instructions |
| Default Warehouse | Enter the warehouse that should display when the Bar Code Label Pool is used by this workstation. If this field is left blank, then the default warehouse on the Control Panel is used instead. |
| Ship Date Days offset from Current Date: | Enter 0 or leave this field blank to cause the Bar Code Label Pool to default to today as the ship date. Enter 1 to offset by one day and show tomorrow as the default. These defaults can be overridden when using the Bar Code Pool Screens. These defaults pertain only to this workstation. |
| Default Printer | Enter the printer ID of the printer to use by default for labels printed from the Bar Code Label Pool at this workstation. |
| Enter an X next to the category which you want to be the default | Select one of the categories to use as your default. These options group and sorts all labels by the category type. For example, if you selected Customer Type as your default, the bar code labels would be grouped and sorted by customer Type. |
| Pallet Build Sheet | Enter an order number to show all labels for that specific order. This field ignores the ship date and printer ID entered above. |
